The Falador shield 2 is a kiteshield obtained from the Chemist in Rimmington when all the medium and easy tasks in the Falador Achievement Diary have been completed. It has the same stat bonus (not including prayer) as a Mithril kiteshield.
The shield offers the following effects:
A Player using the Falador Shield 2 to restore prayer.
- Has a daily single 50% prayer recharge option. This feature is very hard to use during combat, as the chatbox will be closed if you are hit. Therefore, it is unwise to rely on the shield to restore your prayer if it is essential to survival.
- Increases farming experience when using the patches north of Port Sarim by 10%.
- Gives a prayer bonus of +5.
- Its defence bonuses are equal to that of the Mithril kiteshield, with a prayer bonus, making it a good shield to wear with initiate armour

Trivia[]
- This shield is designed as a specific style of kite shield called a heater shield.
- The prayer restore rounds down.
- All Falador shields have a glitch with the emote very similar to the candy cane's "weapon spinning glitch".
- If lost, a replacement may be obtained from the Chemist in Rimmington.
- If you happened to use the Falador shield to restore prayer and the next day you ran out of membership, due to an unknown reason, it will still say "Your Falador shield has been recharged."
- When facing a wall and using the emote, if you look towards yourself from the opposite side of the wall, you will be able to see yourself through the wall and the things behind you for a quick second. (Works with certain walls.)
- If you face your camera so you can see the front of you, and do the shield's emote, you'll be able to see your cape through your body. This has not yet been fixed.
