The Falador shield 3 is a reward for completing the hard tasks of the Falador Achievement Diary. Players may obtain the shield from the squire in Falador Castle.

If you have lost the shield, speaking to the squire will allow you to obtain a new one. You will not have to retrieve all three one by one if you've completed all of the Achievements, instead you will obtain the third shield. Although it provides minimal defensive statistics, the shield currently has the highest prayer bonus for any item in the shield slot, at +7.

Abilities[]

  • It has the same defence bonuses as an Adamant kiteshield, excluding Prayer bonus, making it a good shield to wear with Proselyte armour(since Proselyte armour gives the same stats as Adamant armour).
  • It has the ability to restore 100% of a player's prayer once per day. This feature is very hard to use during combat, as the chatbox will be closed if you are hit. Therefore, it is unwise to rely on the shield to restore your prayer if it is essential to survival. Despite this, you can use it for killing Tormented demons or for the Fight Cave by using safespots, saving you some inventory space for Prayer potions.
  • Wyson will trade white lily seeds in exchange for moleskins if players have this shield in their inventory, as well as the usual bird's nests.
  • Increases farming experience when using the patches north of Port Sarim by 10%. It must be wielded.
  • When equipped, the player can use the shield's emote.

Trivia[]

  • To some it resembles a shield of a Guard of the White Tree from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings The Return of the King.
  • When facing a wall and using the emote, if you look towards yourself from the opposite side of the wall, you will be able to see right at yourself and the stuff behind you for a quick second. (Works with certain walls.)
  • If you use the emote and quickly do a regular emote, you will do the normal emote while the icon still floats there.
