Fremennik sea boots 3 are obtained by completing the hard tasks of the Fremennik Province Diary. It provides the same stat bonuses as a pair of Adamant boots. The benefits they provide are:

  • Ability to send items to your bank by talking to Peer the Seer while wearing the boots.
  • Allow you to jump from the pier on Miscellania to Etceteria.
  • They will help increase your approval rating slightly faster than normal.
  • Once per day they will allow you to teleport with the enchanted lyre without using up a charge. The boots must be worn or in the inventory.
  • Ability to remotely charge the lyre by operating the boots. All lyre charges must be used up before it will allow a charge to the lyre. A raw shark, manta ray or sea turtle in your inventory is also required. This will give 1 less charge than charging in person, however. Optionally the player will receive two additional charges (relative to normal) if wearing/carrying the boots while charging in person. (Note: You may use the Ring of charos in order to substitute a bass for a shark even while charging your lyre with the boots.).
  • Ability to change lyre teleport to Waterbirth Island. This can be done by operating the boots while worn. Note that you must be wearing the boots for this to take effect; if you do not equip the boots, the lyre will still take you to Rellekka even if you changed your lyre teleport location. Also, teleporting to Waterbirth with the lyre produces a different melody than when the player teleports to Rellekka.
  • Advisor Ghrim will buy flatpack furniture and put the money on the treasury used in Managing Miscellania. The amount received is equivalent to 10% of the store price for materials used for the flatpack. Advisor Ghrim will NOT accept noted flatpacks. He does tell players the price he will buy the furniture at before the transaction is completed. WARNING: After a hidden update on 12 December 2008, Advisor Ghrim no longer buys Marble magic wardrobes or Magical cape racks at the current market price. The prices at which he buys them have been substantially lowered (by 90%). In most cases it is much higher than the GE prices for these items as he buys them for 10% of material cost for the flatpack, using the prices of the Stonemason and the Sawmill operator.
  • Citizens of Rellekka will refer to players wearing these as 'Far-strider'.
